Smart Irrigation Controller for agricultural irrigation systems
The Smart Irrigation Controller uses LORA (Long Range) technology, enables seamless communication and control over a wide area, allowing for efficient and precise irrigation management. With features like remote monitoring, real-time data analysis, and customizable irrigation schedules, this smart controller optimizes water usage, saves resources, and maximizes crop yield.
Smart Irrigation Controller for agricultural irrigation systems
Its boasts LORA WALN communication and rechargeable batteries, with a detachable solar panel for additional power. It can easily replace standard valves on the market, thanks to its standard installation hole size.
With the convenience of remote control via our intuitive mobile app and web portal, this smart valve is perfect for a diverse range of applications including landscaping, greenhouse management, orchard irrigation, agricultural irrigation, and IoT flow control.
How It Works?
FAQS
1 - What is a smart irrigation valve?
It is the first valve to have a built-in controller, the first to have built-in flow sensors, and the first to be fully wireless and internet-connected. The built-in sensors detect water flow rate, signaling the valve to open and close when needed to meet volume goals set by the grower instead of relying on timers or manual intervention.
2- What's the difference between a smart irrigation controller and a smart irrigation valve?
Irrigation controllers or smart irrigation controllers only act as the “hub” that transmits and receives data from another source. This means that you would also have to purchase electronic (solenoid) valves from another provider in order to enable irrigation automation. If you also desire flow rate data, you would need to purchase a flow sensor from a third provider and wire the system together to function properly.
iHING simplifies this by combining the controller, valve, and flow sensors together into a single, easy to manage unit.iHING also provides their own software for the valves, making installation and operation a seamless experience.
3- Do iHING smart irrigation valves also require an irrigation controller?
No, each one of iHING’s valves operates independently of a central irrigation controller or hub. Essentially, each valve has its own built-in irrigation controller. This makes installing iHING valves incredibly affordable and easy, since they don’t need to be in close proximity to a main controller.
4- Is there a limit to how many iHING smart valves I can use?
There is no limit to how many smart water valves you can use. Some growers only require a valve at the block level, while other prefer to create sub-blocks to achieve maximum control. With iHING smart irrigation valve, you have complete control over how granular you want to get with your water distribution.
5-
How difficult is it to install iHING's smart valves?
Not hard at all! iHING valves were designed for easy retrofit on any drip irrigation system.
What makes iHING different from other irrigation automation solutions is that you don’t need to rip and replace your existing system or invest a lot of money upfront in hardware costs.
Our goal is to make precision irrigation affordable and accessible to all growers.
6- How do iHING's smart valves connect to the internet?
We have two type of solution for the smart valve internet connetion method
1) Stand alone unit with 5G cellular modem that establishes the internet connection with Cloud.
2) if you have a big area and multi-sub blocks need to control, you can use our LORA version for the valve, and these lora valve will connect the LORA/5G gateway which can cover more than 2Km areas. for this solution you can save more cost for the mass water distribution system.
7- Do iHING's smart irrigation valves comes with a monitoring platform and smartphone app? Does it need a extra cost?
yes, iHING smart irrigation platform is available for both PC-based and smartphone apps.
The platform is with 5USD/devce annual data host fee. But we also provide platform deployment with your own server at reasonal cost.
